The Graiguenamanagh river regatta is held every August bank holiday weekend on the Sunday… a week or two prior, you will always see these wooden cot boats left in the water to swell in time for racing! I love their colours, their shapes and reflections.  I’ve taken many photos of them over the years with the intention of painting them but have never done so…until now, my first finished painting of 2024🤗
