I wanted to capture the vibrancy the town of Graiguenamanagh, the colours of the buildings and boats lining the quay. A focal point of this painting is the beautiful bridge in the background, the waterside guesthouse and of course a junior quad rowing boat training out on the water, a sight you will often see when walking the towpath.
